Last week, we introduced a few methods to allow you to legally watch Australian Rules Football over here in the United States, and this week we’ll do likewise for Aussie NRL (National Rugby League) fans over here! The NRL season kicks off on March 1 when Newcastle goes up against the Dragons from St George/Illawara, and in 2012 the Manly Sea Eagles will look to back up their premiership success from 2011.

In the States, Fox Sports Soccer Channel is your primary source of Rugby League this season, in part thanks to Russell Crowe negotiating in 2011 for the State of Origin to be beamed live to 40 million Americans (or Aussies in America) over the Fox Sports Network. The channel is contracted to provide full coverage of the 2012 NRL Season, in addition to finals matches, State of Origin and highlights shows. Stay tuned to the Fox Sports TV schedule for scheduling updates throughout the season. will be providing full coverage accessible to any region which does not possess a current broadcast agreement according to the NRL’s International Broadcast Partner’s website

Stay tuned as we keep you posted throughout the year on top places to watch Australian sports throughout the United States.

Go Storm!

Is this really true. I have tried about 8 times to get a response from Fox Soccer Channel about the NRL and they never reply. I couldn’t understand that if Murdoch owns most of the NRL and he owns Fox why we don’t get the whole footy season here. Have you heard that they are going to broadcast the WHOLE season?
    Go the Bunnies!!
