Australian Contemporary Aboriginal Artist Reko Rennie will be holding an artist talk at SCOPE Art Show. As part of dianne tanzer gallery + project’s exhibition, Reko invites you to meet him and hear him speak about his art. Through the mediums of spray-paint and stencil, using geometric patterns and acid-bright, saturated color, Rennie’s work focuses on what it means to be an urban Aboriginal man in contemporary society. His art and installations continually explore issues of identity, justice, health, education, land rights, stolen generations and other issues affecting Aboriginals in contemporary society today.
