If you’ve been watching television recently, you may or may not have realized that the catchy songs in two popular 2012 commercials are the products of some hardworking Australian punk bands.

Australia Day in Central Park August 18, 2012

This Saturday marks a huge celebration of Australian music in New York City’s Central Park. Australian acts Husky, Sheppard, High Highs, George Byrne, Maya Jupiter, DJ Ashley Feraude and graffiti artist Kid Zoom will grace the park’s SummerStage for what is shaping up to be an unforgettable day.
