The first bi-annual Worldwide Cost of Living Survey conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit has just been released, noting that Australia’s cities are among the most expensive in the world.


The streets of Melbourne are getting more violent according to an op-ed in the Herald Sun by conservative columnist Miranda Devine. The only way around it may be to model policing on New York ex-Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s zero-tolerance policy of the 1990s.
