Husky at Mercury Lounge in New York

Our featured event this week is the huge Australia Day at Central Park in New York City. The free boutique festival happens on Saturday and features Husky, Sheppard, High Highs, Maya Jupiter, George Byrne, DJ Ashley Feraude and live artwork by Kid Zoom.

The Mootekkis continue their domination of New York City tonight and Tuesday.

Kasey Chambers plays a few gigs this week. She visits Annapolis, MD tonight, Dallas on Wednesday, Austin on Thursday and a final U.S. date at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, CO on Saturday.

The Wiggles continue their farewell tour this week in Wallingford, CT on Tuesday, Hyannis, MA on Wednesday, Cohasset, MA on Thursday, two shows in Philadelphia on Saturday and two more in Westbury, NY on Sunday.

Come enjoy a few drinks with fellow Aussies who have gone through Grow USA for their J1 and E3 visas. The event is on Wednesday at the Australian Pub in New York City.

Husky play Chicago on Tuesday and Philadelphia on Friday before coming to New York and playing the big aformentioned Australia Day show in Central Park on Saturday afternoon.

Dead Can Dance continue their reunion tour in San Diego on Wednesday, Salt Lake City on Friday and Denver on Sunday.

Those of you in Los Angeles can attend a cocktail reception with the Australian Ambassador to the United States Kim Beazley on Thursday.

London Cries, formerly known as Jukebox Cartel, participate in the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Hollywood, CA on Friday at the infamous Viper Room.

Last but certainly not least, singer, songwriter and self-taught didgeridooer Harper shows Flint, MI again how he does it on Sunday night.
