The Olympics continue this week, and as of writing this, the medal tally stays strong as a collection of one of each of Gold, Silver and Bronze. This week, we continue to cheer on the Aussies as well as focus on the activity in swimming, hockey, basketball and more. In case you missed it, our list of events to watch and places to go watch them can be found here.

The Temper Trap is back at it in the States this week, playing Indianapolis on Tuesday, Covington, KY on Wednesday, Columbus, OH on Thursday and two shows in Chicago on Saturday. The first is at Lollapalooza in the afternoon and the second is a late after-party for the festival.

Also playing Lollapalooza, but on Friday, is Tame Impala. The band also hits Council Bluffs, IA on Wednesday night.

The Death Set will tear down the Bowery Ballroom in New York on Tuesday. We suggest that if you’re in NYC, you show up for the mayhem.

The Wiggles continue wiggling across the country with two shows in Atlanta on Tuesday, one in Jacksonville, FL on Thursday, Miami on Friday, Orlando on Saturday and St. Petersburg on Sunday.

On Thursday, a huge line-up of Aussies will ROCK Santa Monica Pier as part of Australia Rocks the Pier at the Twilight Concert Series. For LA, this is the Aussie event of the summer – and it’s not to be missed.

On Saturday Dublin, OH is host to the USAFL‘s 49th Parallel Cup, an Aussie Rules game between the American Freedom and the Canadian Northern Lights followed by the American Revolution vs. the Canadian Northwind.
