We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! We’re back to business now with another week of great events.

Fellow countrymen Gotye and Jonti continue to tour across the States in Los Angeles tonight and Berkeley on Thursday.

Songstresses Missy Higgins and Butterfly Boucher play Portland, OR tonight, Sacramento on Wednesday, San Francisco on Thursday, San Diego on Saturday and Phoenix on Sunday. Higgins will also be on tour with Gotye in the near future.

The legendary Dead Can Dance hit Nashville tonight, Atlanta on Wednesday and Austin on Friday.

Iggy Azalea embarks on the MTV and Reebok sponsored Closer To My Dreams Tour tonight in Los Angeles before landing in Corpus Christi on Friday, Houston on Saturday and Dallas on Sunday.

The Jezabels play a couple of gigs in Washington State this week, in Bellingham tonight and Spokane on Wednesday. The band also makes its way to Missoula, MT on Friday and Boise, ID on Saturday.

Australian playwright Ross Mueller‘s newest endeavor Construction of the Human Heart has its American debut in New York City on Wednesday night and runs through September 16.

The American Australian Association is throwing a trivia night at the Australian Pub in New York on Thursday night.

Singer Karlie Bruce throws an album release concert on Thursday in Brooklyn, NY for her new offering Paperback Lover. Everybody who pays gets a copy of the record!

Cosi, a play by renowned playwright Louis Nowra which is based in a Melbourne mental institution in the 1970′s, opens in New York City on Friday and runs through September 23.

Finally, the art exhibits featuring Australian and Aboriginal works continue to run in Abington, VA, Santa Fe, NM, Houston and Washington D.C.
